Westair Wings Charters is the leading provider of Air Charters in Namibia. Flight Operations are conducted under the standards of Part 135 AOC (Aircraft Operating Certificate) approvals.
It has always been and still is WWC’s aim to deliver Air Charter Services of the highest quality and safety standards to travelers who want to reach their destinations with the minimum of fuss and with as much comfort as possible.
Our aircraft fleet consists of 30 aircraft ranging from piston singles to piston twins as well as single and twin turbo-prop aircraft. Four are pressurized turbo-prop twins. WWC is therefore able to meet any demand by a tourist or business traveler. Our range of aircraft provides the end user with a flexibility that is unmatched in the market. This flexibility ensures that we can meet any charter request.
WWC currently employs 27 pilots. All our pilots meet the most demanding standards of flying. Our pilots are expected to do more tests and check flights than is required by normal regulatory requirements. In order to maintain our quality and safety standards, WWC is audited rigorously by external Auditing companies like Hart Aviation. These audits are available on request. Additionally, large companies like Anglo American who is only satisfied with the best industry practices, fly with WWC on a regular basis. WWC has two qualified and certified Auditors who with a team of assistants, audit the company on a regular basis.
Our services include the following:
- Corporate VIP travel
- Sight-seeing, photographic and pleasure flights
- Fly-in Safaris for individuals and groups
- The conveyance of freight to any destination on the African Continent
- Fly-in Safaris to rugged and remote airstrips in Namibia with Nature Wings, a joint venture between Nature Friends Safaris and Westair Wings Charters
One of the extremely successful Joint Ventures is the one that was forged between NatureFriend Safaris and Westair Wings Charters (WWC). NatureFriend Safaris owners and directors always had a passion for flying. Some years ago they became more and more involved in flying their visitors to their lodges in the Wolwedans area and that brought the inception of the 'Dunehopper Flight' between Swakopmund, Windhoek and Wolwedans.
The natural next step was to form a partnership between NatureFriends and WWC, and to quote one of the NatureFriend's directors – "the only choice was to partner with Westair Wings Charters – considered the Rolls Royce of charter companies in Namibia".
The joint venture became Nature Wings. NatureFriend Safaris does the marketing and reservations for the fly-in safaris and WWC handles the operational issues. Westair Maintenance ensures that the aircraft is fully airworthy!
It is important to note that Nature Wings is a stand-alone charter company that can accommodate any client in need of a Cessna 210 and pilot. Nature Wings own and operates 4 Cessna 210's.

Luggage Policy
It is important for the business or tourist traveler to note that the aircraft on the Westair Fleet are not Airliners – relatively speaking. This means in practice that the passenger on any flight will be limited in the amount of luggage that he or she can take with them on board the aircraft. Not one of our pilots is allowed to fly the aircraft close to its weight and balance limitations, and we expect passengers to take with them no more than 10kg per person in soft bags. This strict control over the weight inevitably translates into greater safety in the operation of the aircraft. Each of the aircraft has its own unique personality which determines its application, performance and weight carrying capability.
